Chess for Everyone R6: Subhayan Kundu takes sole lead with perfect 6/6
After six rounds at the Chess for Everyone tournament in Kerala, the battle at the top has intensified with the standings beginning to take clearer shape. Subhayan Kundu has emerged as the sole leader with 6/6. Subhayan won his matches against Tamang Sudip and Mahadev J S. He is unbeaten in the tournament so far. Subhayan Kundu in the lead
The Chess for Everyone tournament in Kerala has reached a decisive phase after six rounds, with Subhayan Kundu emerging as the sole leader with a perfect 6/6. After four rounds, as many as eight players were tied at the top, but Subhayan has since pulled ahead to take a clear lead, remaining unbeaten so far. With the final day now underway, Kiriakov Petr, Roy Chowdhury Saptarshi, Trickov Vasil and Sangma Rahul form the chasing pack on 5.5 points each, keeping the race for the top wide open.
